Why We Use AI Moderation
Hearzo operates 24/7 across thousands of simultaneous conversations. AI moderation enables us to detect harmful content, crisis signals, and policy violations in real time ā something that human moderation alone cannot achieve at scale. AI moderation is a safety layer, not a replacement for human oversight.
What Our AI Monitors
Our moderation AI is trained to detect: ā¢ Abusive, harassing, or threatening language ā¢ Sexual solicitation or explicit content ā¢ Crisis signals (expressions of self-harm or harm to others) ā¢ Policy violations (solicitation of personal contact, off-platform payments) ā¢ Hate speech or discriminatory content ā¢ Spam and fraudulent behavior
How AI Actions Work
When the AI detects a potential violation: 1. The content is flagged and the relevant conversation segment is logged 2. Low-severity flags trigger automated warnings to the offending user 3. High-severity flags (e.g., crisis signals, explicit content) trigger immediate human review 4. Accounts with repeated violations are escalated to the safety team for action
Human Review
All AI flags are subject to human review by our trained safety team. No account actions are taken solely based on AI detection without human confirmation for medium and high severity flags.
Privacy & AI
Our AI processes conversations in real time for safety purposes only. The AI does not store conversation content beyond what is required for safety review, and all processed data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Limitations
AI moderation is a powerful tool but is not infallible. Our AI may occasionally flag false positives or miss subtle violations. This is why human oversight is always maintained. We continuously improve our models based on reported content and safety team feedback.

If you believe your account was actioned incorrectly due to a false AI flag, you may appeal by contacting empathixsolutions@gmail.com with your account details and a description of the situation.
